Good luck my friend.

A friend of mine stopped blogging a while ago but we kept in touch via e-mail and Skype.
Now she is gone for good, shutting down her on-line life to concentrate on home and family.

I hope she is happy.
I hope her marital bed becomes a happy one.
I hope her boyfriend understands.
and I hope she moves onward and upward and find all the joy she is seeking.

I will miss seeing her naked however.

This makes us sad. We don't like losing friends. When someone stops blogging, we love knowing that we can still keep in touch on Skype, Twitter, email, etc. But when they leave behind all of these things - and it HAS happened to us - it's very difficult.

She is making the right choice, and I know that, but still.....

If her home life is to improve, it needs her 100% focus, and I know that needs to happen. The selfish side of me argues, but I'm putting that voice in the closet for now. He enjoys th ball gag anyway.

(sigh)

It is difficult when online friends drop out of our lives. It leaves us wondering.

About 1.5 years ago I reunited with an old online friend of mine after no communication for nearly 15 years! I am thrilled to have him back in my life.

Never say never!

I agree that this kind of walking away can be difficult. The way we connect with people via these mediums can be profound.

But at least you'll always have the image of her naked body burned on you brain...
