I don't have much to brag about, and I was slower than the 31 people who finished ahead of me, but I finished my 10K race in a personal best 48:22!!!!!!!
I was 32nd over all and 5th in my age group (thank goodness for small community races).
Mile 1 - 7:12
Mile 2 - 7:25
Mile 3 - 7:49
Mile 4 - 8:08
Mile 5 - 8:20
Mile 6 - 7:50!!!!!!!
I was sooo very very excited! And to Rebecca and Summer, thank you! You pulled me to my fastest finish every, and I enjoyed chasing your cute little behinds the entire way.

Nicely done!
Congratulations!!!
YAY! That's just excellent!
Way to go! Great job!
Nice negative split there on mile 6!
WOW!!!! I'm super duper proud of you. Rebecca and Summer must have been hot asses!!! Meow!!
Well done! I go to the gym a lot and have to run as part of the job, but I will never be a runner or achieve that level on a 10. In a lethargic society, you have MUCH to be proud of.

Woohoo!
Next time you run though you have to think past the finish line... to the bedroom, the hot tub or the shower. :)
Drench - I had to do something to impress my daughter who runs 6:20 miles...
Monkey - It was nice to break 50, a long time goal.
Cande - Thank you!
J&J - You'll have to join me on the beach for a run soon.
Elsie - Ooooh, running lingo, fess up, are you a trackster?
Carolina - Both of them were fun to chase, but funner to pass, even if my view changed from them to some old guy. LOL
No Name - I take a lot of motivation from my family and try to be exception to the genetic fate that is overtaking many of them. Thanks...
Word - I thought a lot about the shower and how well the three of us would have fit and how I could finally put that bench to good use!
THANKS TO EVERYONE!! I didn't want to sound like I was bragging, but it was such a good day that I had to share it with my favorite people!!!
