if the weather holds out (and after 42 days without rain it should) I should be on the beach for a couple of days with our local Boy Scout troop. (and stop it, I'm not that kind of leader...)
I had to get used to 'winter' camping when we moved to Florida. Our boys out troop usually goes in November and February and both times it is still quite warm. Summer camping is just tooooooo hot.

We had a lovely weekend of rain. Much needed and desired. Hope you had fun with the squire baits... um. Boy Scouts. :)
Tame - I thought it was good to be wet. :-)
MNN - Winter in FLA is a bit of an oxymoron. I'd just take them out hunting mosquitoes.
Carolina - We got about 10 min of sun, lots of windy and overcast weather, and FREEZING cold water. But it was fun.
Word - Squire baits? Too funny. These boys are the same age as my oldest and there is a lot of brewing heartbreak in the group. It won't be pretty.
