Today is the first day of the Great Cycling Challenge. I'm participating and hoping to raise $1,000 to fight pediatric cancer. I rode 30 miles today, my butt is sore, but only 320 miles to go.

My job is boring, so I drift through the day with all my tasks complete, a tsunami of work approaching that I can't start on yet, and changes and layoffs lying in wait after the new year. I'm keeping my head down and my resume current.

I don't much of a moral issue with porn as long as everyone involved is there consensually, but damn, there is so much of it. One video turns into 2 hours if you don't pay attention. Lately I'll poke around for my favorite actresses and/or scenarios, "enjoy" it to the end, and be done. I don't have time for it anymore.

My son's friend was stuck at college because of freeway shutdowns so he invited her over to kill time until everything opened, then he went off to study group. I was torn between wanting some time alone with her and being accused of wanting time alone with her. But, the point was moo since she stayed at the library to study.

It's over 100F all week at my house. That's too hot for too long. Just sayin'

During this month of cycling, I'm also going to try and eat better, but right now, all I want is a big handful of chocolate chips and a 20-egg omelet. OK, not 20, but you get the idea. I want to drop 5 pounds in 4 weeks. You'd think that would be easy, but apparently not.
