FFF - The Jacket

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She thought about running after the truck, but it was cold, and she was in heels, and public works still hadn’t fixed the street.  What was the point?  Was it worth twisting an ankle?  No. She’d keep his jacket for one more week.  She’d spend one more week smelling him, wearing it and nothing else while thinking about what a fool she was.  What a cliché. But what else could she do?  This wasn’t “Pretty Woman” and she wasn’t Julia Roberts, there would be no fairytale ending this time. (90)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Debbi hurried around the apartment.  She cursed herself for sleeping. The apartment was a mess, and she hadn’t done her hair or picked an outfit.  She adjusted the blinds, plugged in the power strips, and turned on her computer, three cameras, and 4 lights.  “This is ridiculous.” She thought as she adjusted the lighting around her bed.  “All to make a few bucks.”

She checked her watch, “Where the hell is Janice?”  As if summoned by magic, the doorknob turned and Janice walked in, looking adorably frazzled, holding 2 coffees, her makeup kit, and smelling like spring.  Everything would be OK now.  Everything was better with Janice around.

She bounced over to greet her, taking her load and putting it all on the entry table, and kissing her deeply.

“Don’t ever abandon me.” She said.

“I’d be a fool if I ever did.”

Janice quieted her with a kiss and their tongues played over the soft taste of coffee.  They pulled apart and got to work.

Janice sat at the desk, logged in, posted the teaser, set-up the request queue, the donation box, and texted Debbie’s followers on all the socials.

“Are you ready?”

Debbie came out wearing Janice’s favorite heels, sheer stockings, and the panties and bra they bought together. Janice swiveled to get a good look.

“What do you think?”  Debbie kissed her. Janice’s hand slid up Debbie’s inner thigh and stroked the soft silk.

Debbie moaned and spread her legs.  Taking the hint, Janice worked a finger inside.

“Oh, fuck.”

Janice sucked on Debbie’s tongue, pulling it into her mouth as her finger circled.

“Now you’re ready.”  Debbie gasped, panted, and nodded her head.

With a flick, the camera feeds lit up and Debbie walked into frame, sitting on the corner of the bed, her legs spread.

“Hello Lovers!” she said.

Debbie reached behind and pulled a leather jacket from under the pillows.

“Today, we are auctioning off a special jacket, left behind be an ex- friend.”  Debbie removed her bra and slipped on the jacket.

“I certainly hope no one emailed today’s link to his wife. How embarrassing.”

She grabbed her favorite toy.

“Let’s get started.”

I don't know if anyone reads "the author's comments" but I do.  I liked the picture, and the prompts, and the first bit came out quite quickly as I only had a few minutes until my house woke up and my writing time was done.  After finishing it in just 90 words, I realized there had to be a 2nd part of the story.  What do we do with reminders of a past the didn't work out?

Thanks to Max for hosting and keeping this going, and to Lexi and Sassy for being such wonderful friends for many many years now.  xoxo

I like both of them, you overachiever you. The first one is so moody though. Got me a little emotional.

Overachiever indeed. :-) Two creative takes. I intended to write both a long and a short take too, but ran out of time. Nice job.
Happy FFF!
